NFLN: Jalen Hurts Fined for ‘Wearing a Shoe Color That’s Not 1 of the Eagles’ Colors

Jalen Hurts’ decision to wear two different colored shoes during the Philadelphia Eagles’ 27-13 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 15 cost him some money.

Per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the league has fined Hurts $5,628 for “wearing a shoe color that’s not one of the Eagles’ constitutional team colors.”

Hurts earned the moniker “Jalen Two Shoes” earlier this season when he had to swap out one of his cleats for a play in the fourth quarter of the Eagles’ 37-17 win over the Cincinnati Bengals on Oct. 27.

The situation happened when Hurts lost his shoe running down the sideline, but he couldn’t immediately get it back on and the Eagles had to use a timeout so he could find a replacement cleat before running the next play.
