Jalen Hurts injury update: Eagles football QB injures in playoff game vs Rams

PHILADELPHIA − Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts went into the medical tent after suffering an apparent knee injury late in the third quarter.

Hurts was sacked on a 2nd-and-15 play from the Rams’ 27 by Jaylen McCullough. Hurts was slow to get up and was limping. He stayed in the game and handed off to Saquon Barkley on third down. The Eagles then got a 44-yard field goal by Jake Elliott.

But Hurts limped off the field and into the medical tent. He popped out of the tent and back onto the field after the Rams punted on their possession.

The Eagles took over at the 4 and one play later, Hurts was sacked in the end zone for a safety, cutting the Eagles’ lead to 16-15.
