Heath Miller Joins Steelers Coaching Staff as Mentor to GM in NFL Draft Room

Miller, who wore the iconic No. 83 for 11 seasons with Pittsburgh (2005-2015), is no stranger to the franchise’s biggest moments. A first-round pick in the 2005 NFL Draft (30th overall), he helped secure two Super Bowl titles (XL and XLIII) and remains the Steelers’ all-time leader among tight ends with 592 receptions, 6,569 receiving yards, and 45 touchdowns. In his new role, Miller will assist GM Omar Khan in evaluating prospects, particularly at tight end and across the offensive skill positions—areas where he once dominated. “Heath is an integral part of Steelers history.
