The Green Bay Packers are 9-4 on the season while their Week 15 opponent, the Seattle Seahawks, are 8-5. While the Packers are in third place in their division with virtually no chance of winning the NFC North, the Seahawks lead the NFC West by a single game over the 7-6 Los Angeles Rams.
Due to the Seahawks’ close division race, this game could have seeding implications in the upcoming NFL Playoffs.
If the Packers are to win this game, as well as make a deep playoff push, they need better results from their pass rush. Currently, Green Bay’s defense ranks just 14th in the NFL with 33 sacks, a far cry from what fans were expecting after Jeff Hafley promised a front seven that would create havoc in the backfield.
