Chiefs Are Working Out Former Eagles Linebacker

The Kansas City Chiefs will enter the playoffs with a great chance to win a third straight Super Bowl championship after they claimed the No. 1 seed in the AFC.

The Chiefs may not have won games in dominant fashion throughout the season, but they executed well enough on both sides of the football to rack up wins.

Kansas City will play a Week 18 game against the Denver Broncos and are expected to sit several of their key starters in preparation for the playoffs.

Though the Chiefs look set with their roster, there are always chances to improve the overall depth and talent on the team.

With that in mind, it appears the organization is set to look at one defensive player.

Chiefs to work out veteran former [Philadelphia] Eagles and [Houston] Texans linebacker Shaun Bradley, per a league source,” Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston wrote on X.

Bradley was a sixth-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft by the Eagles and played three seasons with them before signing with the Texans’ practice squad.

Bradley was waived in November and has been looking to land on an NFL team since.

He has struggled with injuries in the past, which could be a red flag for teams like the Chiefs, who can look in other directions.

However, if he can prove he’s fully healthy, Bradley could be a solid depth piece in the middle of their defense or on special teams.
