Minnesota Vikings star Jordan Addison and New Orleans Saints standout Chris Olave are reportedly on the Buffalo Bills’ radar.
Bills quarterback Josh Allen won the first MVP Award of his career in 2024 despite lacking a true No. 1 receiver. Khalil Shakir led the team in receptions (76) and receiving yards (821), with rookie Keon Coleman (556 yards) the only other pass-catcher to eclipse 500 yards.
The Bills traded star wideout Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans last year, and No. 2 WR Gabe Davis left for the Jacksonville Jaguars in free agency. There’s no telling how much better this Buffalo offense would be under the reigning MVP if they could bring in a bonafide star receiver, though.
According to a report from Matt Parrino of NewYorkUpstate.com, Chris Olave and Jordan Addison are among the potential trade targets for Bills GM Brandon Beane:
“Two other names to monitor are New Orleans Saints receiver Chris Olave, who does come with a concerning concussion history, and maybe Minnesota receiver Jordan Addison. The Vikings just gave All-Pro receiver Justin Jefferson a monster new deal and Addison will be extension eligible after the 2025 season.
The Bills and Vikings have pulled off a trade in the past for a big-time receiver and Beane should look into Addison’s availability. From the outside looking in, Addison seems to have played his best ball when Jefferson was out of the lineup in 2023. He’s a vertical threat who can win at all three levels. I think he’d be a fun addition to the Bills offense.”
The Bills could potentially explore a trade for Vikings’s WR Jordan Addison or Saints’s WR Chris Olave leading up to the draft, per @MattParrino.

A 2022 first-round pick of the Saints, Olave exceeded the 70-catch and 1,000-yard marks in each of his first two seasons. Injuries limited him to eight games in 2024, and he finished with 32 catches for 400 yards and one touchdown.
The 23-year-old Jordan Addison missed two games last season, but he still finished with a respectable stat line of 63-875-9. The year before, he hauled in 70 catches for 911 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Jordan Addison Would Become A Superstar With Bills

As talented as Addison is, it’ll be hard for him to hit All-Pro status with Justin Jefferson leading the way on offense, to say nothing of star tight end T.J. Hockenson and the Aaron Jones-led rushing game.
Throw Jordan Addison into the Buffalo offense, though, and he’d immediately become the new WR1 for arguably the best quarterback in all of football.
