Josh Allen is expected to start Sunday’s regular season finale to keep his current starts streak of 114 alive, but he is not slated to play all four quarters.
In preparation, the Bills have signed quarterback Mike White from their practice squad, according to NFL insider Adam Schefter.
“With Josh Allen slated to appear only briefly Sunday, the Bills signed QB Mike White off their practice squad and on to their active roster,” Schefter said on X.

White will serve as Mitchell Trubisky’s backup for the rest of the game, but head coach Sean McDermott plans to give him some action as well.
“We hope we can get him in the game,” McDermott said.
Since the start of 2023, White has logged six total pass attempts in an NFL game.
