Bills’ Josh Allen updates injury post-Patriots win

The Buffalo Bills got a huge scare against the New England Patriots in Week 16 as quarterback Josh Allen was injured during the contest.

In the fourth quarter, Allen went down with an injury which looked like a hand problem. Instead, it turned out to be an elbow issue.

Allen sustained a different hand injury when his hand made contact with the helmet of an opponent in Week 1. It appeared like the same might have happened against the Pats.

That one was his non-throwing hand while this one was the important one.

In a sigh of relief, Allen did return to action and finished the contest. He even sealed the win with a QB sneak on the final play for Buffalo which is a positive sign.

After the contest, Allen updated his health status right away before even getting to the locker room. While talking to CBS Sports, the QB said it was just a “funny bone” issue… something that happens to most of us day-to-day.

Regardless, Allen’s status will be monitored throughout the upcoming week.
