Amari Cooper Has Honest Admission About Being In Buffalo

After trading away star wide receiver Stefon Diggs this offseason, the Buffalo Bills appeared to find a replacement when they landed Amari Cooper in a midseason trade with the Cleveland Browns.

Statistically, Cooper, a five-time Pro Bowler, hasn’t been impressive with Buffalo — he has had 16 catches for 231 yards and one touchdown in six games with his new team, but he seems happy in Upstate New York.

He said his experience with the Bills has been “amazing” and that he has always wanted to be on a team such as the Bills.

“It’s absolutely amazing. Honestly, I’ve been waiting my whole life to be on a team like this… I’m in Year 10. And so, what’s most important to me is winning. And so, I think we definitely have the formula.”

Earlier in his career, Cooper had to endure some rough seasons with not only the Browns but also the Oakland Raiders and Dallas Cowboys, but he’s now on a squad that has a chance to do something special this winter.

Ever since quarterback Josh Allen became an elite player in 2020, the Bills have done very well in the regular season, but they have made just one trip to the AFC Championship Game, and they have seemingly been unable to defeat the Kansas City Chiefs when it has mattered most.

But a growing number of people feel this is the year for Buffalo to go all the way and win the Super Bowl championship that has always eluded them and their devoted fans.

They hold an 11-3 record, and with Patrick Mahomes dealing with a high ankle sprain, they could have at least an outside chance of finishing ahead of the Chiefs and claiming home-field advantage through the AFC title game.

Cooper could end up playing a key role if the Bills do indeed finally get past the Chiefs and finally win it all.
