The Philadelphia Eagles might be the defending Super Bowl champions, but that does not mean they should remain stagnant and not make moves.
That is exactly what they did this week when former Green Bay Packers running back AJ Dillon signed with them, per Fox Sports’ Jordan Schultz.
The 26-year-old will now be the backup to Eagles’ star Saquon Barkley after racking up 2,428 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns in his career.
After dealing with back-to-back injuries, the former second-round draft pick sat out all of the 2024 season. Dillon played in the Packers’ first preseason game but then suffered a neck stinger during the team’s joint practice with the Denver Broncos. He would not see the field again during training camp.
Dillon was placed on injured reserve without the designation to return.
Now, he is expected to have a crucial role on the Philadelphia Eagles.
Dillon signing with the Eagles isn’t the only thing fans were talking about on Wednesday.
One thing that Dillon and Saquon have in common is their massive squad muscles.
“The #Eagles RB room now have the biggest quads in the league with Saquon Barkley and AJ Dillon,” one acccount stated while providing pictures.

“The Eagles RB room has to be the biggest quad room ever, right???” a second person asked.
“We have both the quad fathers in Philly. Training camp should be fun,” another fan stated.
“They boutta have a Quad off in training camp,” someone else said of the Philadelphia Eagles players.
One final fan said: “🚨ABSOLUTE UNITS🚨. SAQUADS & the QUAD FATHER in the same backfield 🤯.”
The Philadelphia Eagles Are Primed To Go Back To Another Super Bowl

With Super Bowl LIX over, sportsbooks have already released their early odds for who might win it all in 2026.
The Philadelphia Eagles dominated Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX, but will they have enough to get back into the big game?
After multiple blockbuster trades and signings, the NFL offseason got a lot more interesting.
The Eagles were one of them after they traded C.J. Gardner-Johnson for Laremy Tunsil.
Currently, many sportsbooks have the Eagles winning Super Bowl LX.
