The Philadelphia Eagles have formally accepted an invitation from President Donald Trump to celebrate their recent Super Bowl victory at the White House, and there is a lot to be said about it on social media.
The Eagles defeated the Chiefs, 40-22, in Super Bowl 59 at the Caesars Superdome last month. This was Philadelphia’s second Super Bowl win, as they previously defeated the New England Patriots when Nick Foles was starting at quarterback. At that time, the team elected not to visit Trump at the White House.
There was also some speculation about the Eagles and their White House visit this time around. However, President Trump has officially invited the Eagles to the White House.
“We sent the invite and they enthusiastically accepted,” the White House official wrote in an email, per USA Today Sports.
The team is now working out a date and time to celebrate their win over the Kansas City Chiefs.

“Disappointing, another fan stated.
“Winning organization joining a winning White House. America is healing,” an excited fan said.
“Somebody sage them and pray protection over them, please!” another fan commented.
“Dam$! They did everything right until now!!” another fan added.
One final fan said: “What puts the cherry on the awkward Sunday is Donald went in full support of the Chiefs 😂.. we all know it’s just for show, should just send the players that wanna go.”
One Star Member of The Philadelphia Eagles Might Not Be At The White House

The Philadelphia Eagles will be heading to the White House at the invitation of President Donald Trump to celebrate their Super Bowl LIX victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.
There were questions about whether the Eagles would accept an invitation after not doing so in 2018.
Eagles captain Lane Johnson said a White House visit would be a “team decision” after they won the Super Bowl.
It is unlikely that everyone will be there.
C.J. Gardner-Johnson, who was a big part of the team, was traded to the Texans on Tuesday.
