The good news is that only four Eagles would currently be questionable for Super Bowl LIX against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The even better news? There’s still another week of preparation – and time to rest and recover – before Super Bowl LIX.
The Eagles practiced on Friday and will do so again on Saturday before leaving Sunday for New Orleans.
Nine Eagles did not practice on Friday, but primarily out of precaution.
First-Team All-Pro linebacker Zack Baun was the only Eagle added to the injury report on Friday as he did not participate in practice with a groin injury. He did not have a game designation.
Brandon Graham was limited for a second straight practice in his return from a triceps injury that has sidelined him since late November.
Nolan Smith returned to practice as a limited participant on Friday after being added to the injury report on Thursday with an illness.
Defensive tackle Moro Ojomo did not practice on Thursday, but was a full participant Friday with a shoulder injury.
QUESTIONABLE
- WR Britain Covey (Neck, Limited)
- RB Kenneth Gainwell (Concussion/Knee, Did Not Participate)
- DE Brandon Graham (Elbow, Limited)
- TE C.J. Uzomah (Abdomen, Full)
*Covey, Graham, and Uzomah are currently on Injured Reserve.
Thursday, January 30
Two of the new additions to the bye week injury report on Thursday were for good reason.
The Eagles opened the practice window for defensive end Brandon Graham and tight end C.J. Uzomah on Thursday.
Graham, who suffered a torn triceps in the Week 12 win in Los Angeles, was limited in his return to action. Uzomah, placed on Injured Reserve on New Year’s Day with an abdomen injury, was a full participant.
After the players had Wednesday off, they practiced at Lincoln Financial Field on Thursday, similar to how they have in recent weeks due to the ground conditions at the NovaCare Complex.
Two other players were added to the injury report as both cornerback Eli Ricks and linebacker Nolan Smith did not practice due to an illness.
Several Eagles rested on Thursday, including running back Saquon Barkley and wide receiver A.J. Brown.
The only other change from Wednesday’s estimated injury report was that offensive lineman Brett Toth (knee) was a full participant on Thursday. He would not have practiced on Wednesday.

Wednesday, January 29
The Eagles did not hold a practice Wednesday, but submitted an estimated injury report to the league.
Nine Eagles would not have practiced.
Running back Saquon Barkley and wide receiver A.J. Brown would have had rest days. It should be noted that Brown’s previous knee injury did not appear on Wednesday’s injury report.
Guard Landon Dickerson would not have practiced with the knee injury that kept him from playing in the second half of the NFC Championship Game. Likewise, center Cam Jurgens, who did not start on Sunday due to a back injury, would not have practiced. Jurgens played in the second half for Dickerson, who started in Jurgens’ spot at center.
A couple of other key offensive weapons would not have practiced on Wednesday. Running back Kenneth Gainwell suffered a concussion and a knee injury in the NFC Championship that would have kept him sidelined. Tight end Dallas Goedert would have rested, but was also dealing with an ankle injury entering the NFC Championship. Wide receiver DeVonta Smith would have missed practice with a hamstring injury.
Defensively, key reserve defensive tackle Moro Ojomo has a shoulder injury that would have kept him from practicing on Wednesday.
