The Las Vegas Raiders Will Trade Maxx Crosby to the Buffalo Bills

The Las Vegas Raiders have had a dumpster fire of a 2024 NFL season. The team has not progressed under Antonio Pierce, and they currently have no quarterback in place. With being 3-12, and not having much success since Maxx Crosby joined the team, it is very clear he is becoming dejected. With a rebuild on the horizon, it wouldn’t be a bad idea for Las Vegas to trade Crosby.

The discontent from Crosby was vocalized by him when he spoke on his podcast stating reasons he’d want to leave Las Vegas. First he stated, “years of inconsistency. New coaches every other year. New teammates. And there’s been plenty of times where I’m like, “damn, like, this D line is cold,” and then I come back and every single one of them is gone”.

With Crosby, he needs to get out and end up on a contender. With his career 67 sacks, 430 pressures, and 223 tackles will easily garner plenty of draft capital for the Raiders. The team that could use Crosby’s talents is the Buffalo Bills.

Buffalo is currently in the midst of their Super Bowl window with Josh Allen under center. Allen is having an MVP season with the Bills at a 12-3 record. The one thing that has held them back from more success is the defensive struggles. Outside of Greg Rousseau, the entire defensive line has failed to generate consistent pressure on opposing quarterbacks. This has led to Allen and the Bills offense having plenty of shootout games to maintain their leads, which is unsustainable.

With Von Miller aging, trading for Crosby would give Rousseau a viable pass rusher to help on the other side. With the Bills being contenders as well, Crosby would enter a better winning culture and prolong the Bills Super Bowl window.
