Here’s how Philadelphia Eagles can clinch the NFC East in NFL Week 15

The 11-2 Philadelphia Eagles already punched their ticket to the playoffs in Week 14 and now they have a chance to secure the NFC East division in Week 15.

It’s pretty simple, but it is also sort of out of their control.

All the Eagles have to do is beat the Pittsburgh Steelers (10-3) on their home turf and then bank on the Washington Commanders (8-5) losing (or a tie) on the road to the New Orleans Saints (5-8).

While making the playoffs and then potentially winning the division this early are very exciting for the Eagles, head coach Nick Sirianni has made it clear where the team’s focus lies which is how they can get better and win the next game.

“When we found out we made the playoffs, that lasted a couple seconds. And then said to ourselves, now it’s back to the Steelers,” Sirianni said. “No one is thinking about the playoffs. No one is thinking about anything. All our attention should be on the Pittsburgh Steelers and that’s it, and how we get better for this week. That’s our attention at all times.”

And there isn’t just one area the Eagles are focused on perfecting week to week, but rather all of them.

“I think you have talked to me enough to know that’s the same thing I say every week of, hey, how do we get better this week? Whether it’s in the passing game, whether it’s in tackling, whether it’s in taking care of the football, whether it’s in taking the football away,” Sirianni said. “If we saw a problem that we’re having or a game where we don’t have something going the way we want it to go, we’ll work like crazy to do that. Penalties, whatever it is.

“And that’s our job, just to get better each week. If we can just keep getting better each week and just figure out how to play this game, and go against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and focus on getting better, the rest of it will take care of itself. We’re not worried about any of that. We’re just worried and focused on where we are today. First of all, it was the review of the game, and now it’s in the beginning stages of prepping for the Steelers.”

Fans can watch the Commanders-Saints game on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET before the Eagles kick off against Pittsburgh at 4:25 p.m. ET.
