Former Bills head coach proposes harsh punishments for MVP voters who don’t vote for Josh Allen

Josh Allen has all but locked up the 2024 NFL MVP award after the sequence of games he’s had over the last month. The Bills have defeated the Chiefs, 49ers, and Lions in three of the last four weeks, and Allen has put together an absurd stat line in that span.

In the last four games, Allen has thrown for 1,114 yards with eight touchdowns to just one interception while rushing for 223 yards and seven touchdowns with a receiving touchdown being the cherry on top.

In light of his outstanding play, former Buffalo Bills head coach Rex Ryan had some stern words for MVP voters who are thinking about not voting for Allen.

“If anybody votes for somebody other than Josh Allen for the MVP, take their MVP vote away and give it to somebody that actually knows the game,” Ryan said on Get Up.

For all the offseason narratives coming into the year about the Bills falling off and either the Dolphins or Jets taking over the division, Allen absolutely deserves the award, not just for his play, but for proving everyone wrong.
